Reporting to the Manager, Quality Improvement Strategy, the Quality Improvement Measure Strategist is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance organizational quality and performance. The Quality Improvement Measure Strategist applies exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze performance trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practice solutions. The Quality Improvement Measure Strategist develops and optimizes end-to-end processes using design thinking methodology to ensure user-centered, innovative outcomes.
The position is accountable for monitoring organizational performance measures, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and collaborating across teams to achieve strategic goals. As the primary quality improvement expert for internal and external partners, this position facilitates collaboration, communication, and alignment to achieve measure improvement goals.
The Quality Improvement Measure Strategist is accountable for enterprise performance on assigned quality measures.

Education & Requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of quality measurement experience in a health system or health plan setting with a focus in health plan quality improvement strategies required
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field from an accredited institution required
- Master’s degree or Doctorate degree (e.g., MD, NP, PA, RN) in any Science or Health Related field from an accredited institution preferred
- Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality required or required to obtain within one (1) year of employment
- Minimum possession of an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California BRN preferred
- Advanced active, unrestricted, and unencumbered clinical licensure issued by appropriate State Board (i.e. MD, PA, NP) preferred
Key Qualifications
- Valid California Driver’s License preferred
- Knowledge in:
- Health Plan, Federal, State and Accreditation Quality Requirements
- Provider Workflows and Care Coordination and Transition Management processes
- SDOH, Health Equity, Community Resources, Person-Centered Care, Alternative Care Models
- Good problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills are highly required
- Proficient user of basic computer applications for the execution of daily project operations
- Must possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey messages across to both study team members and other external persons like vendors and external consultants
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Project
- Must be able to lead and work as part of a cross-functional team, building new healthcare partnerships, products, and services
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Exceptional ability to organize and motivate other members in the project team
- Proven track record for execution of deliverables and enterprise targets
- Excellent creative, organization, multi-tasking, and attention to detail capabilities
- Must be able to work within a dynamic environment, including managing multiple projects, and pivoting or changing direction as needed
- Must results driven, self-starter, navigate ambiguity
- Commute to meeting locations as needed

Pay Range
- $118,601.60 USD Annually - $157,144.00 USD Annually
