Position Summary/Position

 

The Talent Sourcing Specialist is a member of the Talent Acquisition team. This position upholds IEHP’s Mission, Vision, and Values by sourcing, cultivating, and maintaining talent pipelines and relationships with high performing, passive/active talent through various media and non-media tools and avenues, in order to build an effective and inspired workforce.
The Sourcing Specialist aids in the responsibility of achieving staffing objectives, by creatively sourcing, creating, and maintaining strong and viable talent pipelines, evaluating candidates in line with required skills and qualifications, then funneling qualified candidates into talent pools to be further screened and vetted by the Talent Advisors. This position serves as IEHP’s talent sourcing expert, strategist, and primary talent pipeline generator.
The Sourcing Specialist employs modern, effective, and evidenced-based techniques to aggressively attract, influence and convert viable talent through the use of innovative sourcing and marketing/branding methods to proactively engage passive candidates, and to ensure an unparalleled candidate experience for every candidate, every time.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Create talent attraction strategies for key job openings and career pipelines, including social media, recruitment campaign management, optimization, and reporting.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring our employer brand and employee value proposition to life on all relevant candidate facing platforms.
3. Effectively utilize recruitment tools such as the applicant tracking system, CRM, SEO, Google Analytics, various social platforms, and niche career sites to identify, market to, and successfully acquire talent to strong, diverse, and qualified talent pipelines.
4. Develop strategies to source, attract, and convert high quality passive candidates into viable active candidates against defined criteria for multiple disciplines, including clear objectives, timelines, and tracking methods.
5. Deliver on talent attraction marketing campaigns with a focus on authentic storytelling to connect candidates to IEHP’s mission, vision, values, and other elements of IEHP’s employee value proposition.
6. Partner with account teams at various job boards and aggregators to launch paid media campaigns, and dive deep into market research to understand defined target audiences.
7. Develop and execute relevant social media campaigns, creating and or utilizing corporate provided shareable content and deliverables to support greater brand awareness and engagement within the talent community.
8. Understand the social media sphere, both the big-name platforms and uncovering relevant niche platforms to source talent from.
9. Partner with Talent Advisors on designated roles to source premium talent that fits specified criteria and requirements.
10. Professionally represent IEHP Talent Acquisition as a Brand Ambassador at public, private and/or IEHP sponsored networking and industry events, career fairs, conferences, and related workshops, both on and off-site.
11. Possesses tremendous learning agility. Researching technology and sourcing domains, then quickly understanding, and applying this knowledge into effective search strategies
12. Conduct in-depth candidate screens and assess candidates for their level of interest, specific motivators, qualifications, compensation needs, and the overall best fit within the organization.
13. Drive equitable inclusion efforts to identify qualified, diverse passive talent while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience for every candidate, every time.
14. Work in partnership with Talent Advisors in order to build sourcing strategies and pipelines for future needs based on deep knowledge of IEHP’s business direction/strategy and talent requirements.
15. Conduct passive candidate outreach and phone screens/interviews (including cold calling, emailing, and social media communication techniques), with well-written candidate screening notes for Talent Advisors to reference
16. Support additional Talent Acquisition needs and initiatives and contribute when and where participation is needed most.

Experience Qualifications

 

Three plus (3+) years of recruiting/sourcing experience across a wide range of disciplines and geographic locations. Including two plus (2+) years of social media / recruitment marketing. Deep experience using targeted social media and networking tools for sourcing and branding efforts; tools include but not limited to: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and TicTok, Geofencing. Experience with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs). Experience contacting high-potential prospects through media/non-media platforms, including comfortability with targeted cold calling. Experience developing collaborative internal relationships across multiple departments and levels. Experience in building, cultivating, engaging with, and sustaining networks of qualified passive/active talent, as well as creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool.

Preferred Experience

 

Search firm and/or marketing experience with a focus on lead generation in a complex market preferred.

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or related field from an accredited institution required.

Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License.

Knowledge Requirement

 

Expertise in advanced Boolean/X-Ray and Semantic searches, organic searches, Google Analytics, and SEO. Familiarity with enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition processes, and experience working in a results measured environment. Proficient in developing and executing fully comprehensive sourcing and recruitment plans.

A reasonable salary expectation is between $61,422.40  - $78,312.00, based upon experience and internal equity.
