Position Summary/Position


Under the direction of the Manager of Compliance Program Oversight, the Compliance Analyst - Systems is responsible for the support functions related to the implementation, configuration, and on-going maintenance of Compliance Department application programs. The Compliance Analyst – Systems is responsible for research and analysis of application programs, coordination of user training, project management, user support, application testing, problem solving, dashboards, and reporting integrity.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)


1. Responsible for supporting the Compliance Program in the development, implementation, and usage of compliance business systems, including but not limited to, system processes, special projects, process improvement, and operations.
2. Responsible for creating and maintaining well documented dashboards, demonstrating department and organizational compliance.
3. Work cooperatively with the Compliance Department staff to develop, maintain, and update systems to ensure effective and appropriate usage. Identify changes and/or concerns in system functionality, conduct analysis to resolve issues, and recommend improvements.
4. Develop a comprehensive understanding of compliance application features and capabilities to provide technical and analytical support to Compliance Department. 
5. Provide support to ensure the Compliance Program Policies and Procedures are effectively managed utilizing compliance systems.
6. Provide support to manage reported incidents/issues in the compliance application software as well as any and all other uses of the system, including but not limited to compliance workspace, compliance related assessments, and auditing functionality to the Compliance Department and the organization as necessary.
7. Effectively manage assigned projects and tasks. Monitor special projects and create performance reports as needed.
8. Responsible to maintain data integrity within the compliance software and perform all related reporting and analysis functions.  
9. Create departmental workflow diagrams as they relate to the application program. Aid in the redesign of business processes and identify new business rules.
10. Develop and maintains all necessary documentation to ensure thorough and complete documentation of systems configuration, policies and procedures, and desktop procedures.
11. Develop end-user training curriculum and train users on compliance application usage.
12. Thoroughly document inconsistencies/ issues/ concerns for follow-up and /or resolution by the software vendor.
13. Be familiar with Federal and State regulatory requirements and respond timely to resolve issues.

Experience Qualifications


Demonstrated experience, at a professional level, in a technical or project management function. Minimum of three (3) years of experience required in an office environment, including extensive use of MS Excel at an expert level and ability to create complex spreadsheets. Experience required with MS Visio at a proficient level. Experience in generating reports and preparing charts and graphs. Experience in implementation and maintaining software applications.

Preferred Experience


Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products preferred. Health care experience strongly preferred. Experience preferred in basic project management, such as tracking progress and follow-up with others.

Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution required.

Knowledge Requirement


Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including software and enterprise applications. Requires strong microcomputer application knowledge; including spreadsheets and databases.  Knowledge of managed care industry operations, practices, and standards preferred. Knowledge of compliance program practices and elements preferred.

Physical Requirements


Starting Salary: $66,040.00  - $84,219.20  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
