Position Summary/Position

 

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Quality Systems, the Special Programs Manager - Quality Systems is responsible for management of various programs and projects assigned.  General areas of responsibility include:  sponsor liaison, project assessment and initiation, resource planning, project implementation, ensuring that projects are progressing according to project plans and quality standards.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Collaborate with multiple departments to develop and implement Milestones for programs/projects
2. Monitor ongoing work plans and initiatives to ensure that interventions are done as documented in the project plan.
3. Facilitate productive working relationships with internal and external partners to collaborate and synergize actions and processes to ensure standard work and standard reporting requirements and opportunities for improvement.
4. Oversee and assist assigned project manager with education and additional details or requirements needed for successful project implementations.
5. Complete research and analysis of assigned projects and share education and information to the workgroup.
6. Create and analyze data needed to manage program/project requirements.
7. Develop project work plans based on program deficiencies assessment or as prompted by new program requirements.

Experience Qualifications

 

Three (3) years of experience in a managed care environment with experience in managing complex projects and or programs utilizing data, workplans and project management tools. 

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.

Preferred Education

 

Master’s degree in Public Health from an accredited institution preferred.

Proven effective time management, leadership and organizational skills.

Ability to appropriately prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.

Starting Salary: $66,040.00  - $84,219.20  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
