Position Summary/Position

 

The Manager, Technical Test Data & Environment will oversee the Test Automation, Test Data management, Performance testing and Test environment virtualization for IEHP’s application and COTS product. The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to Automation & Quality Engineering, Assurance for IEHP applications.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Create/Assist/Troubleshoot the development of Test Automation Framework, Standards, Procedures
2. Lead a data masking working group to guide the design and related resolution of issues around different use cases of masking and design aspects
3. Accountable for the setup, configuration, and roll out of the data masking product 
4. Supports and Execute the Test Data Management services at an organization level
5. Define and advise internal and external standards, methods, and procedures for Test Data Management
6. Perform Data identification across multiple data sources, extraction, and loading into the test environments based on the scenarios provided.
7. Partner with Business support services group to protect production data in lower environments
8. Accountable for Test Environment Management across various work streams
9. Processes, and best practices as related to Test Automation and Test Data Management
10. Manage the Daily/Weekly activities of the QE team members and support the onboarding of new team members
11. Establish, report, and manage various metrics to effectively manage team.
12. Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or customers
13. Contribute to program/project review meetings. 
14. Determining status, assessing problem areas, suggesting, and reviewing corrective actions
15. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with product vendors to ensure the test environments are set up for release and upgrade testing of the products
16. Work within quality assurance frameworks to ensure stability, efficiency and scalability
17. Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution
18. Assist in the development of quality assurance and testing policies, standards and procedures, processes, and best practices as related to automation through a Community of Practice
19. Contribute to program/project review meetings. Support Quality Assurance Management in determining status, assessing problem areas, suggesting, and reviewing corrective actions, directing/planning necessary extra work, and rework and re-plan activities.
20. Review requirements and specifications, and define test automated test solutions.

Experience Qualifications

 

A minimum of ten (10) years of information systems experiences as a Lead or Project Manager. Proven leadership experience, mentoring, and developing a team at a leadership level.
Of the ten (10) years of experience requirement must have extensive experience in:

- IT Quality Assurance Automation Lead or Manager.

­- Successful created and managed IT QA function

­- Bringing in thought leadership to the organization

­- Experience as facilitator and negotiator/mediator

No Code Tools. Ten plus (10+) Years of experience in Agile environment and DevOps. Ten plus (10 +) Years of extensive experience in Selenium/C# and VSTS. Working experience using database technologies such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server databases with expertise in SQL. Experience with testing big enterprise, high-traffic and multi-tier applications using MS Azure.

Preferred Experience

 

Experience managing teams of Automation Engineers strongly preferred.

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or similar technical field from an accredited institution required.

Professional Certification

 

Agile, TDD or equivalent industry certifications preferred.

Drivers License Required

Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License.

Knowledge Requirement

 

Expertise in Creating Test Automation Frameworks with Selenium/C# and Low Code. Expertise in setting up Automation Suites in CI/CD Environment.

Knowledge of:
- Test Data Management tools and other ETL tools.
- VSTS/Azure CI/CD Pipelines
- Test Data Management concepts.
- Programming and technical experience as this role will require digging into code and interfacing with developers and delivery managers
- Tools and processes for results reporting

Strong understanding of:
- Healthcare issues, information systems, management issues, and current trends.
- Conceptualizing business strategies while implementing information systems and technology strategic direction.

Starting Salary: $134,804.80  - $171,870.40  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
