Position Summary/Position

 

Reporting to the Medical Director, Quality Transformation, the Manager, Strategic Partnerships will lead the design, pilot, and evaluation of new user experiences / workflows in collaboration with business partners to advance IEHP strategic priorities and goals to improve quality to members, providers, and community-based organizations. In this role, the Manager, Strategic Partnerships will provide oversight of identified initiatives, including planning, organizing, and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders. The individual will also ensure the work is in line with IEHP strategic quality goals, objectives and is conducted and executed effectively.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Lead multidisciplinary teams to innovate, experiment, and scale innovative solutions.
2. Cultivate and maintain relationships among business partners.
3. Consult with all levels of senior management, make recommendations, and influence decision making.
4. Understand business challenges and align engagement strategy to address challenges.
5. Conduct and interpret competitor and customer analysis to inform strategies.
6. Adapt and integrate emerging care models and digital solutions into IEHP solutions.
7. Manage medium-to-large complexity / medium-to-high priority programs and interventions such as business, regulatory or technology deployments (inclusive of project budgets and acquiring resources with agreements from functional areas, 3rd party vendors, and consultants).
8. Structure and manage key workstreams to deliver strategic objectives.
9. Leverage cross functional relationships with vendors, providers, external consultants and IEHP Team Members, including but not limited to
    a. Partner with Measurement Teams to experiment and evaluate solutions, iterate to enhance solutions as needed
    b. Engage with contracting, legal, finance, and other business units as appropriate to ensure compliance
10. Analyze user feedback and learnings from experiments, recommend path forward.
11. Track contract expectations, communication, budgets, performance metrics and timelines with support from Quality Specialist.
12. Responsible for issue resolution to mitigate enterprise risk.
13. Prepare, oversee, and review documents that are related to assigned projects.
14. Evaluate the availability of necessary resources for the execution of related projects.

Experience Qualifications

 

Ten (10) or more years of experience with medical managed care management and/or business operations required including experience with strong data analysis and reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. Experience working with government programs Medicaid/Medicare. Extensive expertise in data analytics and business intelligence function.  At least five (5) years of experience in a leadership capacity in data analysis and reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.

Preferred Experience

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in any Science or Health Related field from an accredited institution required. Other clinical degrees from an accredited institution may be considered.

Preferred Education

 

Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License.

Knowledge in: 
- Health Plan or Hospital Federal, State and Accreditation Requirements
- Provider Workflows and Care Coordination and Transition Management processes
- SDOH, Health Equity, Community Resources, Person-Centered Care, Alternative Care Models
- User Experience Design, Journey Maps, Wireframes, Prototyping, A/B Testing, Psychographic Profile Interpretation, Behavioral Economics, Cultural Anthropology

Skills Requirement

 

- Good problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills are highly required
- Proficient user of basic computer applications for the execution of daily project operations
- Must possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey messages across to both study team members and other external persons like vendors and external consultants 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Project
- Exceptional ability to organize and motivate other members in the project team
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills

A reasonable salary expectation is between $134,804.80  - $171,870.40, based upon experience and internal equity.
