Position Summary/Position

 

Under the direction of the Director of Architecture and Development, the Data Integration Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, management and implementation of all Data Integration between our Providers, IPA, Hospitals, HIE and other trading partners. This includes monitoring and measuring the progress of all Data Integration and assisting with on boarding and setup process. Work with our trading partners on what technology(s) will best fit the EMR systems or B2B system to accomplish bi-directional interoperability.  These technologies include HL7, CCDA, FHIR, API, or X12.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Identify partner needs; build functionality required for each partner.
2. Respond to requests from partners in a timely manner.
3. Monitor and support compliance with data privacy and sharing policies.
4. Identify messages which IEHP and its trading partners would benefit from and direct teams to build and configure these messages in industry standard formats.
5. Support internal staff to use Data Store to help partners achieve community-level outcomes.
6. Work with multiple partners, dataset and security levels to ensure full functionality and integration.

Leader: Administers Hires, Terminations, and Performance Reviews

Experience Qualifications

 

The following experience may be concurrent: At least three (3) years hands on experience with HL7 (V.2/V.3) interface development at a Health Plan level with at least one (1) year in management working with both internal and external partners. Two (2) years in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Experience working with interface engines and healthcare workflows. Experience with HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Experience

 

Experience qualifications preferably in a health care setting.

Education Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Education

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or Healthcare from an accredited institution preferred.

Knowledge Requirement

 

Pragmatic approach to development that balances the technical approach with business objectives and user needs, Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, etc. Strong working knowledge in Relational and Non-Relational databases, Stored Procedure, and Query writing. Detailed understanding of HL7 segments, fields and data types. Strong functional knowledge of and experience with an HL7 message validation tool like 7Edit or HL7 Inspector. Working knowledge of the current and future FHIR standards and implementation/adoption progression. Knowledge of various healthcare applications (EMR, Lab, etc.),

Physical Requirements

 

Starting Salary: $127,171.20  - $162,136.00  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
