Position Summary/Position

 

The Systems Architect III's role is to develop and maintain the high-level design plan for the overall technical IT Systems Architecture and Integration. This individual will provide systems technical leadership within the systems enterprise network. The Systems Architect III will work together with Infrastructure management to gain organizational commitment for all high-level infrastructure plans to initiate and participate in projects to evaluate technologies and methods for Implementing these plans.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Design, Build, Implement and Drive IEHP in systems infrastructure forward in the solution and integration for client server systems in enterprise environment.
2. Partnerships and alliances with IT Management and sub departments for design, system integration, best practices and solutions to deploy enterprise technology services.
3. Lead, Design, Develop and manage an infrastructure capacity plan and to accommodate for future growth.
4. Provide architectural design expertise, direction and assistance to, System Administrators, and other Systems Team Staff.
5. Design, Plan, Setup and Maintained all DATA Systems and Data Center for IEHP.
6. Document and develop company's existing IT Systems architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio.
7. Manage production systems, maintained, Support and improved Systems services and enterprise Server platforms.
8. Test, Validate and Approve new technology and integration into company’s infrastructure.
9. System hardware acquisition, research, capacity planning, demo and test new technologies.
10. Provide technical leadership and mentor technical support staff.
11. Design, Manage, Support and Maintenance of Storage Area Network.
12. Design, Plan, Implement client server/storage (backend).
13. Participate All projects concerning Systems and Hardware, Design, Plan, Acquire, Implement Devolvement production Servers, Storage, SAN, FC Switch Hardware.
14. Design, Plan and Implement Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
15. Provide Level 3 troubleshooting and Support for Service and Delivery.

Experience Qualifications

 

Minimum 10 years of enterprise working experience with Systems Administration and developing strategic plans for I.T. Operation. Extensive Experience with the following but not limited to: VMWare, Citrix, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SFTP, TCP/IP, Exchange Message infrastructure, IIS, ESXi, VCenter, and Suite of VMWare Features such as VMotion, VSwitch and Storage Area Network Management. Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis. Proven experience in systems design and development.

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer related field from an accredited institution required. 

 

Significant experience of IT Systems Administration experience or 2 or more IT certifications such as MCSE, VCP, MCSA, CCNA, Network +, Server + may be considered in lieu of degree: In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience is required.

MCSE, VMWare VCP, Citrix, CCNA, or equivalence experience.

Extensive Knowledge with developing strategic plans. Expert knowledge in networking design(s) including an in-depth understating of Network, Unix/Linux, Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, Exchange, Active Directory, LDAP and SAN technology. Exceptional understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.

Projects involving lift server appliance weights up to 50 lbs. and heavy eye strain with computer monitors. 

 

Starting Salary: $119,100.80  - $151,860.80  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
