Position Summary/Position


The Human Resources Specialist - Talent Aquisition must source and recruit candidates using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, while effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the job., Under general supervision, the Human Resources Specialist – Talent Acquisition will complete a variety of specialized duties to support the daily functions within the Human Resources department. This position will support Human Resources programs and processes of a broad and varied nature related to Talent Acquisition.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)


1. Coordinates with Team Members and Management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and best practices.
2. Perform a broad range of administrative duties using initiative and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential details.
3. Acts as a trusted resource for the organization and consistently demonstrates IEHP organizational values while building strong internal relationships.
4. Serves as an HR Representative, responds to requests and inquiries timely and in collaboration with others as necessary to resolve or escalate requests to appropriate Human Resources personnel.
5. Ability to multi-task to coordinate, prepare and monitor special projects and reports as required. 
6. Coordinates and schedules interviews for all final internal/external applicants.
7. Acts as the liaison for internal/external applicants to answer questions and problem solve when necessary.
8. Administers pre-employment assessments and maintains the tracking of such assessments.
9. Coordinate, prepare and monitor multiple special projects and reports as required. 
10. Coordinate and schedule all temporary staff interviews and ensure that they meet the minimum qualifications and have been screened accordingly and meet all requirements pre-hire. 
11. Ensure all potential new hires have successfully completed the background process and are cleared to on board.
12. Track and monitor all new hires and temporary staff to ensure all documents and testing have been collected pre hire.
13. Continuous tracking of temporary staff hours to ensure billing accuracy and they do not exceed maximum permitted hours.
14. Partner with hiring managers to assess temporary needs and requirements of the department.

Experience Qualifications

1-2 years of demonstrated experience in a Human Resources function. Demonstrate superior interpersonal and administrative skills commensurate with years of experience. 

Preferred Experience

Education Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred Education


Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Professional Certification


PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Professional Licenses

Drivers License Required

Skills Requirement

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organization skills.

Physical Requirements


Starting Salary: $45,468.80  - $56,846.40  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
