Position Summary/Position

 

The Foundation Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of the Foundation marketing plan. This plan includes internal and external communications for Foundation programs and activities: design and production of all collateral, direct mail, and other direct marketing programs, web pages, events, and social media campaigns. They will set and guide the strategy and execution of all internal/external communications, public relations, and website/social media presence to promote the IEHP Foundation and its mission. They are also responsible for ensuring that all external Foundation communications are clear, strategically targeted, and of high-quality.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Serve as strategic communications advisor to IEHP Foundation President by providing thought leadership and policy recommendations on a range of Foundation topics, programs, projects, and priorities. 
2. Drive the strategy, planning, development, and execution to drive high engagement and traffic to Foundation website and social media communities.
3. Manage Foundation communications and adheres to the communication branding.  
4. Develop creative collateral to execute the marketing plan.
5. Oversee the content strategy, execution, and oversight of IEHP Foundation Website.
6. Work with Foundation staff to launch key programs and ensure all content is updates.
7. Apply best practices to ensure high engagement on sites and complete optimization of content to reach targeted audiences.
8. Ensure all graphics, images, and videos are updated with IEHP Foundation brand/style.
9. Develop social media strategy for social media channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.

Experience Qualifications

 

Seven (7) years of demonstrated experience as a communications professional with ability to synthesize complex information into impactful stories.

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field from an accredited institution required.

Preferred Education

 

Graduate degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Drivers License Required

Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License.

Knowledge Requirement

 

Possess knowledge of strategic messaging and marketing strategies. Understanding of and sensitivity to a multi-cultural environment and community.

Skills Requirement

 

Must have strong writing, editing, management, strategic planning, analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position requires excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional department liaison skills.

Abilities Requirement

 

Must have a high degree of patience and attention to detail.

Starting Salary: $118,248.00  - $150,779.20  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
