Position Summary/Position

 

The Engineer III - Information Security will lead the efforts in InfoSec Vulnerability Management, Strengthening of Vulnerability medication strategies, oversee execution of security policy framework and risk assessment outcomes.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Perform Internal controls audits & risk assessments on IT assets, information systems, and business partners
2. Conduct vulnerability scans, analyze results, and propose prioritized remediation strategies
3. Produce information security risk and information security program reports
4. Provide information security training
5. Qualys Configuration revisit and Agent deployment coordination
6. Create and update Qualys Reports & Dashboards
7. Qualys report analysis to Identify Server and Patch targeting 
8. Coordinate in vulnerability mitigation of Server through Patching & Application/System configuration
9. Internal Risk & Severity assessment based on DMZ, Application Tiering etc.

Experience Qualifications

 

Eight (8) years of experience with Vulnerability scanning and remediation experience. Valid Job experience in Information Security roles. Experience with producing security reporting metrics and reports. Experience with performing risk assessments, analyzing results, and managing remediation. Experience in performing controls audits and report on controls effectiveness.

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.

Professional Certification

 

Information Security Certifications preferred.

Drivers License Required

Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License.

Knowledge Requirement

 

Qualys tool knowledge preferred. Vulnerability Management, NIST Risk Management, and Windows System Admiration knowledge. Appropriate Microsoft Windows Server Administration knowledge. Cyber security best practices & HIPAA awareness.

Skills Requirement

 

Excellent communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence.

A reasonable salary expectation is between $126,256.00  - $160,992.00, based upon experience and internal equity
