Position Summary/Position

 

Under the general direction of the Community Resource Center (CRC) Supervisor, the Community Resource Center Logistics Coordinator is responsible for working directly with the CRC Management Team to assist in a wide range of facility support requests, building and equipment issues, facilitating and supporting center daily activities. The CRC Logistics Coordinator will be a proactive team player who is also able to work independently, build rapport with diverse IEHP members, the general community and local partner agencies. The CRC Logistics Coordinator will be proactive and responsive to Members’ needs in a friendly and professional manner. 

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Responsible for documenting, responding, and resolving, in an efficient and timely manner, facilities service work order for Community Resource Center (CRC). This will be done in collaboration with Facilities Department.
2. Responsible for coordination of general building repairs.  Ensures support services meets or exceeds standards for maintenance/trouble shooting such as:  building automation systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical power systems, and light controls), equipment (e.g., building such as security and restroom devices, and office such as copier, fax, refrigerator, ice, coffee, and water machines) and system furniture installation, repairs, and locking hardware.  Emphasis on proactive maintenance and in maintaining the general building appearance.
3. Responsible for ensuring sufficient building supplies are available and stocked.  This includes completing monthly inventory and communicating deficient stock levels as required with Facilities Department and other departments.  
4. Oversight of CRC grounds to ensure safety, cleanliness, and custodial functions are implemented properly.  
5. Supports CRC events with logistic and planning efforts, such as food distributions and any other event activities.  
6. Responsible to register Community Partners for usage of space to host external meetings and programs. This includes providing proper agreement forms for signatures from partners, providing signed and approved agreements and forms back to the partnering agency and ensuring proper room reservation has been created in the Outlook calendar.
7. Assisting and coordination of rewards program for the Community Resource Center participants.
8. For quality assurance purposes, perform routine faculty inspections to ensure equipment is properly working.
9. Communicate with internal departments, such as facilities and warehouse, regarding center issues and needs. 
10. Ready all multi-purpose rooms as needed, and other assigned tasks as required. 
11. Maintaining a proper inventory of equipment, furniture, supplies, promotional items, food bank/goods and other necessary items required to keep center functional. 
12. Model commitment to continuous quality improvement by engaging in quality improvement initiatives and projects, such as identifying and addressing HEDIS gaps, and by identifying, developing, and testing new practices for improving the outcomes of the Community Health Department.
13. Ensures documentations is accurate, useful and in compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards and OSHA.
14. Participates in all appropriate staff meetings or other activities as needed.
15. Provide coverage of the Community Resource Center reception area with excellent customer service and be the concierge of the center as the first person seen in the front lobby area. 
16. Act as a liaison to the Member, IEHP as needed to assist Members with appropriate and timely access to services.
17. Assist members with initial touchpoint and forward member assistance to Specialist and CRC Community Health Worker, as needed.

Experience Qualifications

 

Two (2) years of experience in any/all of the following:
- Building systems (HVAC, Lighting controls, electrical power systems)
- Equipment (copiers, fax, general office equipment) 
- Warehouse setting
- Electric Pallet Jack
- Cleaning/janitorial practices
- Building operation repairs
- Customer service

Preferred Experience

 

Customer service experience preferably in a managed care setting. Community based organization experience preferred.

Education Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Education

Professional Certification

 

Secure Electric Pallet Jack certification within one (1) month of employment.

Professional Licenses

Drivers License Required

Yes, must have a valid California Driver's license and valid automobile insurance. Must qualify and maintain driving record to drive company vehicles based on IEHP insurance standards of no more than three (3) points.

Knowledge Requirement

 

Basic first aid and safety practices. Understanding of and sensitive to multi-cultural communities. Knowledge of Medi-Cal/managed care environment preferred.

Skills Requirement

 

Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to drive a box truck and operate a lift gate. Computer skills, including typing, data entry, and managing email. Maintaining security and safety systems. Strong communication, time management, organization, and interpersonal skills. Professional skills, including but not limited to balancing multiple projects, constant learning, observing ethical and legal rules, and practicing respect and courtesy.

A reasonable salary expectation is between $45,884.80 and $55,993.60, based upon experience and internal equity.
