Position Summary/Position


The Analyst III will assist in coordinating all regulatory requirements assignments and along with audits. The position will also be responsible for variety of complex assignments that are delegated by management in terms of objectives rather than specific instructions. The Analyst III is responsible for supporting the senior management in all required or directed activities.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)


1. Collaborate with department team members to coordinate, compile and monitor assigned projects and reports to ensure reporting is complete and submitted timely.
2. Responsible for analyzing report requests to determine users’ needs and objectives, identify the correct criteria to meet reporting request and ensure the delivered report is accurate, timely, and formatted appropriately.
3. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of the various data sources utilized by the department for regulatory reporting, as well as a clear understanding of IEHP business operations to be able to appropriately apply criteria and methodology to meet requestors’ reporting needs.
4. Significant participation in analysis, interpretation, and translating of complex data, issues, trends, and relationships into effective strategies and action plans.
5. Responsible for troubleshooting reporting issues as well as incorrect data results.  Provide Business support to database users and work as a liaison between database users and the IT department as needed.
6. Responsible for managing assigned projects and effectively communicating with teams if any project deadlines will not be met well in advance of the project due date.
7. Document all reporting projects and reports within a project consistently, following department protocols, ensure updates to department processes and standard reporting documentation is completed as updates occur. 
8. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others throughout the organization as well as with the Medicare delegates.

Experience Qualifications


Two (2) or more years of experience in report writing and analysis, including extensive use and understanding of MS Access, Excel, Visio, Word, and Power Point.

Preferred Experience


Experience in the healthcare field is preferred.

Education Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in a health, business, or related field from an accredited institution required.

Preferred Education


Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Drivers License Required


Knowledge Requirement


Knowledge in report writing from data warehouse, application database or specific report writing tools. Must demonstrate a deep interest in research and data analysis, drawing actionable insights from raw data and synthesizing information to drive results. 

Skills Requirement


Excellent interpersonal/communication skills. Communicate clearly and effectively both in speaking and in writing.
Data analysis, word processing, spreadsheet, and some database capabilities. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Power Point, Word and Excel is essential.

Ability to handle multiple projects, data input, strong problem-solving capability. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent data collection and systemization abilities. Exercising sound independent judgment within established guidelines. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work.

Starting Salary: $79,809.60  - $101,774.40  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
