Position Summary/Position


Under the direction of the Quality Systems Management Team, the Quality Improvement Analyst I is responsible for providing project support, analytical review, program evaluation to support the Quality Systems Department activities.  Apply the knowledge of regulatory requirements for effective development and implementation of quality initiatives in collaboration with key departments.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Significant participation in data analysis, report interpretation, and identifying data trends to contribute to effective strategies and action plans that support Quality Improvement and Quality Compliance activities. 
2. Coordinate prepare and monitor quality improvement regulatory projects and reports to ensure all regulatory reporting is complete and submitted timely. Ability to utilize common quality improvement tools and resources such as; cause and effect diagram, driver diagram, failure modes and effects analysis tool, flowcharts, etc.
3. Able to analyze, research and report on quality improvement activities to meet established goals for IEHP’s quality initiatives. Contribute solutions for improvement activities.
4. Able to apply plan-do-study-act cycle concepts to quality improvement initiatives and monitor iterative tests of change.
5. Responsible for understanding of the various data sources accessible to Quality Systems for regulatory programs. This requires the ability to link regulatory requirements, IEHP’s data systems and IEHP’s internal business operations to create actionable evaluation metrics that support quality programs.
6. Responsible for managing assigned projects and effectively communicating with the Quality Systems leadership team of any project issues, deadlines and status at any time.
7. Research and prepare clear and concise summary reports, narratives and gap analyses on key topics, as directed.
8. Demonstrate a commitment to incorporate LEAN principles into daily work.
9. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others throughout the organization.

Experience Qualifications


Two years relative experience in business or healthcare administration, including working knowledge of data analysis, study methodology, and preparing professional documents.  

Preferred Experience

 

Experience in the healthcare field is preferred. 

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution in health care or business administration, or related field required. Will accept Master’s Degree in lieu of experience.

Starting Salary: $49,192.00  - $62,004.00  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
