Position Summary/Position

 

Under the direction of the Directors of Human Resources , the HR Analyst is responsible for a variety of complex assignments and projects to improve HR processes and deliver comprehensive data analytics.  In this role, the HR Analyst will create, maintain, and analyze departmental reports and interpret the data for internal application and decision-making.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

 

1. Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources that may include the human resource information system (HRIS) outputs, engagement surveys, exit interviews, Team Member employment data, leave of absence and benefits records.
2. Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to HR-related functions and organizational needs.
3. Prepares reports of data results, presenting and interpreting findings to department or IEHP leadership.
4. Assist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HRIS processes to ensure transactions are entered and maintained accurately and consistently.
5. Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
6. Collaborates with the HRIS Operations Administrator to support the development and implementation of system enhancements, data integrity audits and process workflows.
7. Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
8. Coordinate and participate in special projects or programs as assigned to ensure the operations of the Human Resources function are successful. Assignments may also include working with Executive Leadership and general HR staff.

Experience Qualifications

 

Three (3) years of experience required in a Human Resources environment including extensive use of MS Excel at an expert level and ability to create complex spreadsheets. Experience required in generating reports and preparing charts and graphs and interpreting analysis in a comprehensive manner. Experience required in working with Human Resources systems. Experience with advanced Excel formulas, database manipulation, running queries, and linking tables.

Preferred Experience

 

Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or ADP is a plus.

Education Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution required. 

Preferred Education

Professional Certification

 

PHR/SPHR or comparable Human Resources certification is preferred.

Knowledge Requirement

 

Knowledge of HR practices and HRIS. Demonstrated expert knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).  

Skills Requirement

 

Word processing involving computer keyboard and screen, copying, and filing of records and/or correspondence.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organization skills, attention to detail, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both within and outside of the organization.  

Abilities Requirement

 

Ability to multi-task and coordinate with others; follow and maintain processes and procedures.

Starting Salary: $57,948.80  - $73,860.80  

Pay rate will commensurate with experience
